Celebrate Easter at the Zoo!

Easter 2019: 4/21/19

When: Sunday, April 21 from 9am-5pm.

Includes:

  • Easter Egg Hunts by age group
  • Face painting
  • Bounce Houses
  • Balloon Creations
  • Photos with the Easter Bunny and animal ambassadors

Easter Egg Hunts:

Look for the Golden Eggs for special prize baskets!

11:30 (ages 0-2 only) This is a slower paced, photo opportunity egg hunt. Eggs contain stickers only, participating children must have an adult with them.
12:00pm (ages 3- 6)
12:30pm (ages 7-12)

*Arrive early as Easter Egg hunts will start promptly on time, each has a different designated area within the Zoo. Please bring your own Easter basket.

Event is included with regular admission. Members are $6.00.

Bring your Mom to meet our animal Mom's this Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12th. All Moms receive a FREE train ride. From the train you will get a 15 minute guided tour and a close-up view of gorillas, rhinos, huge Nile hippos and Sumatran orangutans!

Join us Friday, May 17th from 9:00-4:00pm for Endangered Species Day 2019!

Its a fun and educational way to learn about the 16 species of endangered, and critically endangered animals here at the Zoo, and what you can do to help them survive. From 9:00-12pm visit conservation biofact stations around the Zoo for a hands on learning experience. At 2:00pm, meet a species that has come back from the brink of extinction, the American alligator. at 3:00pm join a team of zookeepers for a python interaction and a message on invasive species.

World Giraffe Day 6/21/19

World Giraffe Day 6/21/19

World Giraffe Day is an exciting annual event to celebrate the longest-necked animal on the longest day or night of the year – June 21st! Join us for a special Meet-A-Keeper giraffe talk at 12pm. Meet the entire giraffe family for an opportunity to learn and ask questions about these beautiful animals. All giraffe feeding proceeds will go to the Giraffe Conservation Foundation to help wild giraffe.
