World Giraffe Day

Celebrate World Giraffe Day with a behind the scenes encounter that gives guests the unique experience of going on a personal tour of our giraffe house and a meet and greet with our resident herd of reticulated giraffe.

Tour participants will journey into the keeper access area and spend time visiting and feeding the giraffes. Your guide will explain what makes this threatened species so unique, how they are managed and cared for, and their status in the wild.

Giraffe Encounter Time: 1 pm, weather permitting. Cost: $25 per person; Does not include Zoo admission.
